About the Journal

What's inside the Journal

Find your 'why', turn it into a goal, build a plan, achieve more from your riding.

The Equus Training Journal provides you with a structured approach to achieving YOUR goals in your riding. With a years worth of guidance formed around what you want to achieve the Journal helps you to find your inspiration, create a step by step plan and hit your target.

Who is the Journal for?

If you ride and you care about getting enjoyment from your partnership with your horse then this will help you to get the most from your riding. Whatever your particular interest or activity from hacking for pleasure to competing at any level in any equestrian discipline the methods, help and guideline that provide you with the tools and the confidence to take your riding and your partnership to the next level.

What will it help with?

The journal, the advice and the additional support available are all designed to fit within and supplement your existing training regime. If you have a trainer or instructor already, this will help you and your trainer get the most from your riding goals.
If you don’t have a trainer or instructor or, don’t have regular lessons, the Journal will still help you get more from your riding and provide a framework to increase your rewards from self improvement.
If you feel you would benefit from some support to guide you but have no interest in traditional ‘lessons’, then the Equus Training Journal has just as many options and help for you as for someone who has regular lessons.

How is the Equus Training Journal different?

There are many other books which have pages for you to record your rides, add details about your horse and a photo, but none, until now, that provide a framework for self improvement. None which have ever tackled the question of “so what? Why am I writing down day after day, week after week what I did?”. No other book guides riders though a journey of self improvement, using what happens each week to build upon. Until now!
